Ignite Church Reopening Details

**In response to Governor Walz’s Executive Order 20-81 that masks are required to be worn in all public indoor spaces in Minnesota, a mask will need to be worn at all times during our in-person worship services, starting this Sunday, July 26. We will have disposable masks available if needed.**

As we look to resume meeting in person, it is important to us that everyone feels safe and welcome. We know there will be a wide range of readiness in regards to returning to in-person services. Our plan is to give you the opportunity to attend in a safe environment, or continue to watch from home if you aren’t ready or able to gather together yet. As I’m sure you anticipated, some things have changed since the last time we met!

Worship Service Changes

We are now offering services at 9:00am and 10:30am. Our online service will continue to be available every Sunday morning by 11:00am.

Per the guidelines set by the CDC and the State of MN, we will be reducing our capacity to 175 people per service to allow for social distancing of at least 6 feet between people who do not live in the same household.

Additional Changes That You Will Notice
  • Volunteers and staff will be disinfecting hard surfaces in high traffic areas (screen one, lobby, etc.) between each service and cleaning/disinfecting the bathrooms regularly.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided and easily accessible for all who attend.

  • As much as possible, we will be providing you with a touch-free environment. Doors will be held open by our volunteers. We will not be providing pens or bulletins and we will not be passing the offering buckets.

  • Rows will be marked off per social distancing guidelines. Ushers will also be available to seat you and help maintain social distancing between you and other people who attend.

  • The lobby will be closed and we ask that you do not linger there after services.

  • We will not be serving coffee or food. Feel free to bring your favorite brew from home!

  • IgniteKIDS will not be available at this time.

What You Can Do to Help
  • If you are feeling unwell or have health concerns, please stay home and join us in worship online.

  • Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.

  • Maintain a distance of 6 feet between yourself and others.

  • Masks are required at this time. We will gladly provide a mask for you if you don't have one with you.

  • Please move outdoors to visit following the service and do not linger in the lobby.

We are so excited to share our plan to reopen with you! As we all know, guidance can change rapidly. We will continue to monitor the recommendations issued by the CDC and review our plan as new information for large group gatherings changes.

We look forward to worshiping with you next week!
